Rear wiper replaced with rear camera
When I initially removed my rear wiper I had fitted a 32mm rubber bung to the hole left in the tailgate glass but I wan't happy with the way this looked so I decided to buy a rear view camera to fit in the hole instead.
Another eBay purchase.
Aux cable to route down the offside of car behind the various plastic trim panels and through the rubber grommets.
While I was at it I also removed the redundant hose that used to lead to the rear washer jet.
Camera fitted in place.
Aux cable and power cable connected and taped up to avoid any unwanted contacts.
Power and earth to camera piggybacked onto the side light connections behind the rear tailgate panel.
A 7" Groundzero screen purchased through the classifieds at TalkAudio
The lower central panel removed from below the dashboard.
The screen mount tried for size and marked up ready to cut.
I can't seem to find a photo of the screen in position so will need to take one and add to the page!
